Bogart Ministry

Please allow us the quick opportunity of introducing ourselves.  After serving churches in Atlanta, NC, and Atlanta, again, we surrendered to missions in 1999, which took us to Liverpool England for 5.5 years and then to Birmingham England for the next 5 years. Our ministry in Liverpool was pastoring a Liverpool City Mission church (Dingle Mount Church) on the south side of the city in an area called the Dingle.  We also served as missioners with the Liverpool City Mission and worked directly with the city's homeless, poor and needy.  In Birmingham (100 miles north of London) we served the Kingshurst Evangelical Church and community center which kept us busy with the pastorate, senior lunch clubs three days per week, youth and children's activities, etc.  We were then called, in 2009, to serve Capitol Heights Baptist Church in Pierre, South Dakota.  Our ministry there was, of course, pastoral and intense discipleship training.  Through the years we've experienced constant opportunities to take the gospel message of Jesus Christ to the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, as well as the Crow Creek Reservation where we helped with children's work, the only Christian school on the reservation, women's ministry and benevolent needs.  We've also enjoy a ministry to motorcyclists through the Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA).  We served in South Dakota for 10.5 years.  In 2020 we retired from that pastorate but not from ministry, preaching or missions.  We are still preaching, teaching discipleship, heavely involved in ministry to motorcyclists, Native Americans, etc.  For as long as God gives us breath and strength we will be telling others about God's gift of grace in the cross of Jesus Christ.  On this website you will find a tab  called "sermons".  Each week I am uploading messages to this website.  There are a collection of sermons from which you can select at any time, not just on Sundays.  We are both commissioned missionaries through Commission To Every Nation (CTEN) out of Kerrville, Texas.
